This is more a mash up of my pep talks from the week. Expect it to make zero sense.
Willpower (n) – Resisting free Chick-fil-a spicy chicken biscuits on breakfast Monday at work. Major props for continuing to resist even when a full bag of biscuits was still laying around at lunch. You are a goddess, and I’m in awe of you. Why thank you.
Sometimes you need to learn your limits. Slow and steady may or may not win you races, but charging out the gate like a prize-winning stallion when you’re really a gimp filly is most definitely not going to get you anywhere. In fact, all it will get you is a week lying on the couch whimpering like a big pansy.
Be content with rocking out your personal best. If that is as simple as actually keeping your legs in consistent running-like motion for all of thirty minutes, then good job! You’ll get better. Be grateful, there’s tons of room for improvement!
